RESIDENTIAL RETREAT
Applications open for spring 2027 retreat
An intimate immersion for people ready to release performance and lead from a more truthful place — combining rigorous rhetoric training with breath, body and inner work.
The retreat runs from Wednesday evening to Sunday, immersed in nature in two carefully chosen locations: the quiet landscapes of Alentejo, Portugal, close to the Atlantic coast, or the deep forests just outside Stockholm, Sweden.
Groups are deliberately kept small. Every participant is interviewed before being offered a place, creating a container that is safe enough for honest exploration and demanding enough to create real change.

Before we can influence others, we need to understand our own patterns. We explore your current way of communicating: where you hold back, what happens under pressure, and which habits or roles shape your expression. This becomes the foundation for your personal development as a communicator.
Breath, presence & nervous system regulation
Your body is the place from where you communicate. Through breath, awareness and practical exercises, you learn to regulate your nervous system, shift from performance to presence, and access a grounded voice and physical expression that feels natural and connected.
Boundaries, clarity & relationships
Authenticity is not about saying everything. It is about being clear about what you think, want and stand for. We work with boundaries, difficult conversations and relational dynamics—building the confidence to communicate with clarity and respect, even when the stakes are high.
Rhetoric, structure & message
Great communication has structure. You learn how to adapt your message to different audiences and contexts, build compelling arguments, and use ethos, logos and pathos with intention. The goal is not to sound more polished—but to make your message clearer, sharper and more impactful.
Meaning, narrative & connection
Stories make ideas memorable. You learn how to find and shape the stories behind your message, using narrative, emotion and structure to create genuine connection. The goal is to move beyond delivering presentations and start creating moments that people remember.
Integration, follow-up & continued development
The work does not end when the program ends. In individual 1:1 follow-up sessions, we reflect on what has shifted, work through real situations and strengthen the practices that matter most to you. You leave with a clear personal framework—and a path for continuing to integrate the work into everyday communication.
Locations alternate between the Portuguese coast and the Swedish countryside. Dates and pricing are shared during your application conversation.
Who am I to guide you on this journey?
To guide you honestly and authentically through masks, walls and limiting beliefs, I have walked the path myself. Alongside my own passion for personal development, meditation and breathwork, my toolbox today holds a unique combination of the academic and the deeply human.
19+ years as a practising rhetoric consultant, built on a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric from Södertörn University.
Trained in UGL (Development of Group and Leader), several self-leadership programs and certified user in Extended DISC profiling.
Many years of personal therapy, several courses in self-leadership and self-insight, and the deep “Meet Yourself” programs (Steps 1 + 2) at Mullingstorp — where I also assisted the course, giving me first-hand understanding of the emotional blockages that so often stand between us and our true expression.
As a trained Hale Breathwork Guide, and through extended meditation retreats in Sweden, India and Portugal, I hold the tools to help you regulate stress and nerves — and find a presence that is felt in the whole room.
When I lead you on this path, I do it not only as someone deeply rooted in rhetoric, but as a guide who understands both the business demands placed on you in your professional role — and the human longing to be true.
Practical questions
The retreat is held in two carefully chosen locations that alternate between programs: the quiet landscapes of Alentejo, Portugal, close to the Atlantic coast, and the deep forests just outside Stockholm, Sweden. Both are all-inclusive nature settings chosen for their stillness — places where you can disconnect from everyday demands and go deep.
We begin on Wednesday evening with dinner and an opening circle, establishing the container for the days ahead. Thursday through Saturday are full immersion days — a rhythm of training sessions, body and breath work, filmed exercises and personal reflection, with generous breaks and time in nature. We close on Sunday around midday, leaving room for integration before the journey home.
Groups are deliberately kept small — typically eight to ten participants. A small group makes it possible to work with each person individually, to film and give detailed 40-point feedback, and to build the trust that honest exploration requires.
Every participant is interviewed before being offered a place. The pre-retreat diagnostic call gives us both a chance to explore your starting point and your goals — and to make sure the retreat is the right fit at the right time for you. This creates a container that is safe enough for honest exploration and demanding enough to create real change.
You stay in carefully selected, all-inclusive nature lodging — private accommodation in quiet surroundings, with organic, nourishing meals prepared for you throughout your stay. Everything is taken care of so you can focus fully on the work.
You leave with a clear personal framework for how you communicate under pressure — grounded in your own voice rather than a performance. Concretely: a personal digital speaker profile, filmed exercises with detailed feedback, 1:1 follow-up integration after the retreat, and practices for breath, presence and rhetoric that you can keep using in everyday life.
In their words
